InYoga offers a mix of daily classes and weekend workshops for students of all levels (and ages!). Whatever your age or experience level, there is a yoga practice for you. Check in with yourself and pay attention to how you feel while doing yoga. Practice will give you tremendous health benefits, and bring a growing sense of ease into your daily life.
Taught by talented, hand-picked teachers, classes are guided with clear, verbal cues, precise “hands-on” adjustments and attention to sequencing. Most of our classes are taught with music. InYoga's classes are designed to be comfortable yet challenging, offering students the opportunity to meet their edge without going over it. Every class offers a complete, well-rounded practice that’s designed to balance strength and flexibility while reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity.
Choose a class that's the best fit for you. Please arrive at least five minutes early to sign-in and get settled. If you arrive late or must leave early, please do so as quietly as you can.
Below are some helpful tips:
- Refrain from eating a full meal for at least two hours before class.
- Drink plenty of water before -- and after -- class, but only a little bit during class.
- Refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes or strong aromatic oils, please.
- Bring your own yoga mat (if you have one), a towel and water bottle.
- Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move around with ease.
- Turn off your cell, iPhone or Blackberry.
- Stay connected to your breath; concentrate and focus on your breathing -- everything else (the health, physical, mental, spiritual benefits)
will follow.
- Keep an open mind and heart. Your thoughts will come and go; we encourage you not to get too attached to them.
- Your "to-do" list will be there for you when class is over.
- You are your own best teacher - listen to your body, find and explore your edge but do not push yourself too far.
- Childs pose is always available to you.
- Relax & have fun!
Please observe the following yoga etiquette:
